Progressive safety gear for gearless, bottom-pulley and cantilever cars
A safety set is the component you hope never operates. When the overspeed governor trips, linkage pulls the wedges against the guide rails and the car decelerates over a defined distance rather than stopping dead. Progressive gear spreads that deceleration across the wedge travel, which keeps retardation inside the limits the standards set and keeps passengers on their feet.
We machine the wedges and assemble each set to the car frame it will serve. Cantilever frames, bottom-pulley arrangements and gearless slings all load the rails differently, so the bracket geometry and wedge spacing change with the application. Tell us the frame type, rated load and rail size and we build to it.
As an elevator safety set manufacturer working from Ahmedabad since 2008, we supply OEMs, lift contractors and AMC providers across India and export under our own IEC registration.

A centrifugal overspeed governor that senses car speed through a dedicated governor rope. Past the set tripping speed it grips the rope, which operates the safety gear and stops the car.

Progressive safety gear built to fit the tight clearances of a machine-room-less shaft. Same gripping performance as a full-size set in a shorter, narrower envelope.

Diverter pulleys that carry the hoist ropes from the traction sheave to the car and counterweight hitches at the angle the shaft requires. Machined grooves matched to rope diameter, on sealed bearings.
