Compact safety gear engineered for machine-room-less lifts
Machine-room-less lifts put the drive in the shaft, which leaves less room for everything else. Safety gear designed for a conventional car frame often simply will not fit — the housings foul the rail brackets or the linkage runs out of travel before the wedges bite.
This set is dimensioned for that constraint. The wedge housings sit closer to the rail, the actuating linkage is shortened, and the whole assembly is built on steel channel rather than a deep sling so it clears the counterweight and drive. Gripping behaviour is unchanged: progressive wedges, controlled retardation, reset from the car top.
We supply MRL safety sets matched to our governors so the trip force and linkage travel are known to work together. Send the shaft section and rail size and we confirm fit before anything is machined.

Progressive safety gear that grips the guide rails and brings the car to a controlled stop when the governor trips. Built for gearless, bottom-pulley and cantilever car frames, with machined steel wedges and a colour-coated steel frame.

A centrifugal overspeed governor that senses car speed through a dedicated governor rope. Past the set tripping speed it grips the rope, which operates the safety gear and stops the car.

A complete door-operator header, assembled and set up before it ships. PMSM drive, encoder feedback, and 2- or 4-panel openings in centre or side configuration.
